The service
The Host provides Dua The Host, an AI assistant that answers apartment guests on behalf of the owner. The service is currently in a pilot phase, with a free 14-day pilot. Subscription terms and pricing will be published before the official launch.
Owner responsibilities
The owner is responsible for the accuracy of the information given to Dua The Host and for filing legal reports, including e-Albania.
Payment and cancellation
Free 14-day pilot. During the pilot the service is free and can be stopped at any time. No payment is ever requested without your prior consent.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and uninterrupted, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that every AI-generated reply will be complete or accurate. The owner remains responsible for reviewing the information given to guests and for decisions made on the basis of it. To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Host is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits, lost revenue, lost bookings or loss of data, nor for damages caused by inaccurate information provided by the owner, by outages of third-party services (such as WhatsApp, Airbnb or Booking) or by events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.
Provider
The service is provided by The Host, Tirana, Albania. Business registration is in progress; full provider details will be added here once complete. Contact: info@thehost.al.
Free trial and subscription
Signup requires no card. The free trial lasts 14 days. To continue after the trial, the owner links a card and picks a plan; online payments are being activated and nothing is charged until then. Without a card the account pauses at the end of the trial and can be resumed at any time.
Use of AI
Dua is an AI assistant. Replies are based only on the data the owner provides; when information is missing, Dua does not guess. The owner agrees to let guests know they are talking to an AI assistant.
Personal data
Processing of guest data is governed by the Data processing agreement (DPA) and the Privacy policy.
Closing the account
The owner can close the account at any time from the dashboard Settings.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Albanian law. Disputes are first settled amicably, then by the competent courts in Tirana.
